The ESC's first Investment Mandate

The NSW Government has announced the Energy Security Corporation’s first Investment Mandate, which outlines how we will co-invest with the private sector in renewable energy projects for our state.

Investment priorities

Solar battery farm

We invest in large-scale storage projects to support a reliable energy system as the state transitions to renewables. 

Transmission tower

We invest in existing network infrastructure and enabling assets that unlock capacity and play a critical role in strengthening NSW's energy security and system reliability.

We invest in scalable platforms and portfolios of distributed generation and storage assets and end-use equipment located on the customer-side of the meter.
